Materiaal & herkomst
De Modulaire Jurk "The Rachel" is vervaardigd uit NOOSA Fiber, een innovatieve en volledig recycleerbare textielvezel die werd ontwikkeld door een Brusselse start-up met een focus op circulaire materialen.
NOOSA Fiber bestaat uit 100% PLA (polylactic acid), een biogebaseerde vezel die wordt geproduceerd via fermentatie van natuurlijke suikers uit hernieuwbare gewassen zoals maïs en suikerriet. Alle grondstoffen zijn GMO-vrij en worden in Europa geteeld.
De productie van de vezel gebeurt lokaal in België, waarbij de PLA wordt geëxtrudeerd tot garen en vervolgens tot stof verwerkt in de spinnerij Utexbel te Ronse. Dankzij deze korte keten kunnen we maximale controle garanderen over kwaliteit, arbeidsomstandigheden en ecologische impact.

Environmental Impact
Compared to conventional cotton production, NOOSA Fiber uses up to:
- 50% less water
- 30% less CO₂ emissions
The fiber is fully industrially compostable and reusable through chemical recycling. The patented NOOCYCLE process breaks down used textile fibers into their original molecular building blocks, which can be reused without quality loss. This creates a closed circular textile chain.
For optimal recycling, the garment must consist of at least 50% NOOSA. The Modular Dress "The Rachel" consists of 100% NOOSA Fiber.
Care Instructions
To extend the life of the dress and keep the material in optimal condition:
- Wash at maximum 30°C
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron at low temperature
- At end of life: industrial composting or return via recycling partner
End-of-Life & Recycling
This dress is designed according to circular principles. Through our return system or certified collection points, the dress can be fully recycled after use. Would you like to return your dress for reuse or recycling?
